It has been a while

It has been a while since my last update. I am currently working through our editing backlog and getting ready for the holidays. I am looking forward to some time to myself, to relax and gear up for next year's wedding season.
Happy Holidays

The photo says it all

Just had my first weekend off, and it was nice to hang with the kids and attend the oldest's soccer game. The week before I shot one of several sweet 16 parties I will be attending this year. This was a video shoot, and everyone seemed to have a great time.
A couple of weeks back I had the good fortune of working for Catherine Fiehn as her second shooter. I have been working with Catherine for a few years now, she is so creative and a great photographer. I feel fortunate to be able to learn from her. We shot Aimee and Paul's wedding, what a great couple, at the Grassy Hill Lodge. I also got the chance to catch up with a great friend Jeff Vitti from CT Party Pros, as always great to see you Jeff and Jay!
See ya!

2 Weddings, one great weekend!

Sunday was a day of rest after 2 great events this past weekend. Friday was a shoot with Rebecca and Bob at the Fox Hill Inn in Brookfield, CT. This was the first time that we had our DJ, Photo and Video company working together for the first time. It was one of those magic nights where everything worked perfectly, but most importantly Rebecca and Bobby were thrilled. I want to make sure that everyone on my staff knows how much I appreciate their professionalism. Spencer, Dave, Chris and Danielle , you guys are the best!
After about 5 hours of sleep due to some tremendous thunderstorms, I was off to the Ethan Allen Inn in Danbury, CT to shoot John and Colleen's special day. I had the fortune of working with Bill Jackson from Steadyshot video as my 2nd camera, and as usual he did an excellent job. Congrats to John, Colleen, Bobby and Rebecca. All the best to you!

I finally did it!

So I finally did it! I created a BLOG to talk about my wedding video and photography escapades. I have been in this business for over 10 years, and love the people aspect of the business. This week we start into the long part of the wedding season, where photographers and videographers work long 10 to 12 hour days and love every minute of it!
I expect to post weekly, but that may change as we head into the busy time of the year.
